OD Link Terms & Privacy — License, Refunds, Data

These terms govern your use of the OD Link application and the odlink.app website (“OD Link”, “we”, “us”). By downloading, activating, or using OD Link, you agree to them.

License grant

When you buy a license, we grant you a perpetual, non-exclusive, non-transferable right to install and use OD Link for the tier you purchased (Studio, Pro, or Performance). “Perpetual” means the version you buy keeps working — there is no subscription and no recurring charge.

Your license is identified by a license key. The key is your proof of license; keep it safe.

Seats & machines

Each license is valid for one or two Macs, depending on the tier and option you purchased. Activation binds the license to a specific Mac. Running OD Link beyond the number of Macs your license covers is not permitted.

Moving between your Macs

You may move a license between your own Macs as often as you like. Deactivate it on the old Mac (this frees the seat), then activate it on the new one. There is no limit on these machine transfers. If a Mac becomes unusable before you can deactivate it, contact support and we will free the seat; this manual assistance is available up to three times over the life of your license.

Changing the owner email

You may change the email address registered to a license (for example, if you change addresses or pass the license to someone else). Email-owner transfers are limited to a lifetime maximum of three per license; further changes require a new license. Changing the owner email requires confirmation from the current email on file.

Demo

OD Link offers a free Demo with reduced functionality (32 channels) that periodically inserts a short audio watermark on send and receive. The Demo is provided “as is” for evaluation. You may not attempt to remove, disable, or circumvent the Demo’s limitations.

Acceptable use

You agree not to:

copy, resell, sublicense, or redistribute the application or your license key;
share a license key publicly or use it beyond your licensed number of Macs;
reverse-engineer, decompile, or attempt to defeat the licensing or signing of the application, except to the extent this restriction is prohibited by law.

Payments & refunds

Purchases are processed by our reseller and Merchant of Record, Lemon Squeezy, which handles billing, sales tax/VAT, and appears as the seller on your receipt. Refunds are handled in line with Lemon Squeezy’s refund policy.

Updates & support

Updates for the version you own are provided at our discretion and at no additional charge. We may add, change, or discontinue features over time.

Each license includes one year of support from activation — email help with setup and licensing. The license itself is perpetual: it keeps working after that first year, and updates to the version you own stay free.

Disclaimer of warranty

OD Link is provided “as is”, without warranty of any kind, express or implied, including merchantability and fitness for a particular purpose. Audio over any network depends on factors outside our control — your hardware, network, and configuration. We do not warrant uninterrupted or error-free operation.

Limitation of liability

To the maximum extent permitted by law, OD Link is not liable for any indirect, incidental, or consequential damages, or for lost audio, lost recordings, lost profits, or downtime, arising from the use of or inability to use the software. Our total liability is limited to the amount you paid for the license.

Privacy

OD Link is built to need as little of your data as possible.

Audio never leaves the direct path between your Macs. It is peer-to-peer and is never sent to, stored on, or relayed through our servers.
To issue and validate a license we store your email address, a device identifier (never your raw hardware details), and your order ID. This is the minimum required to deliver your key, count activations, and provide support.
The website does not require an account. We do not sell your data.

Payment and billing details are handled by Lemon Squeezy under their own privacy policy; we do not receive or store your full payment information.
